Hey Babes!
I hope you all had a relaxing and fun filled winter break. Classes are in full swing starting today and honestly I’m SO excited to be back on my set schedule. I don’t know about you guys but I feel out of it when I don’t have something to do every day. Since I arrived back on campus I have received a ton of questions asking how I do it all: School, Greek life, social events all while having a blog. ORGANIZATION has been and always be my best friend. I decided to dedicate this post on how to be successful this semester… Let’s get those A’s Ladies!!!
- Make a to do list
- First things first, a good planner is key. I’m currently obsessed with my Plum paper planner. The best thing about this planner is that you get to fully customize it to what works best for you. There are three different layouts and a million color combinations. I’m a firm believer that if you have cute school supplies you will actually want to go to class.
- Make a to do list
- I like being able to have one sheet of paper filled with everything that I have to do. It seems a little intimidating after you write everything down but take it step by step and cross them off as you go. This is the to do pad that I use and it helps be divide my tasks into most important to least important
- Highlighters are key
- Besides the fact that they make your notes look so much cuter they can help you point out information really quick. At the top of your notes create a color code to help you remember what every color means.
- Pink= Dates
- Blue= Vocabulary
- Green= People
- Purple= Events

- Take a break
- It can be hard sitting down for hours on end and your brain starts to hurt so make sure to get up and walk around for 5-10 minutes after looking at two chapters or doing 15 problems!
- Keep healthy snacks close
- Let’s be honest… nothing happens when you start to get hangry. Make sure to always have something on you to hold you over while studying! some of my favorites are
- Apple with peanut butter
- String cheese
- Granola bars
- Popcorn
- Let’s be honest… nothing happens when you start to get hangry. Make sure to always have something on you to hold you over while studying! some of my favorites are
- Get at least 7 hours of sleep
- There is only so much studying and reviewing that you can do before your brain starts to shut down. Plus, when you wake up you will feel refreshed and able to hit the ground running!
- Make some “ME” time
- Gurllll you have been working hard you deserve to take a longer break so step away from the books and focus on yourself. These are my favorite study break activities:
- Movie with friends
- Dinner (301 cheese boards are always the move)
- Nails
- Go on a run

The Best Study Locations:
- Turbo Coffee
- This is a new coffee shop here in Tuscaloosa and I’m obsessed with it. By far my favorite place to study.
- Heritage house
- Down to earth coffee shop that makes the best lavender lattes & lots of natural light that shines in.
- Panera
- Lots of seating and the best chicken noodle soup to help bring some comfort when you are on the break of a mental breakdown.
- Barns n Noble
- It is so quiet and it has a Starbucks inside. Plus, they have small tables for when you need to sit down and focus completely on what you are doing.
- McClure Library
- No one is ever in here & they have presentation rooms upstairs if you need to go practice.
I hope this post has helped put a little pep in your step for this upcoming semester! Best of luck cute girls!!
