Hi Friends!!
Over the last couple of days, I have had SO many of you reach out to me about needing some help find recruitment outfits. First and foremost, I apologize that I could not respond to each and everyone of you personally because of the no contact period. But I’m so excited that you reached to me and I hope this post helps you!
A little background on my Greek affiliation, I’m an Alpha Phi (AOE!) at the University of Alabama and went through recruitment in the Fall of 2016. If you are even remotely interested in Recruitment, I highly recommend looking into the process! Being from out of state, I had zero clue on what I should be wearing for the rounds but now that I have been apart of recruitment for three years… I’ve got you covered! If you haven’t read my first post on sorority recruitment click HERE to check it out!
Rush at any University can be extremely overwhelming and not to mention HOT. You want to wear a dress that is comfortable and functional yet shows off your personality. The whole process starts in about three weeks so there is still plenty of time to get ready for the big week ahead of you!
A couple good rules of thumb for dresses are:
- Don’t wear something that you wouldn’t wear around your grandma.
- If you bend over and your booty shows, save that one for another time.
- If you have to second guess yourself about the cleavage, the answer is no.
- Being comfortable is key! If you feel even slightly uncomfy, say pass and find the one that makes you feel great!
To help you navigate, I have broken it down into each of the rounds plus shoes and jewelry at the end. The best part is everything is around or under $100! Let me know in the comments which one you will be wearing this fall during rush!
